THE ACTIVE IMAGE MEDIA STORY
Starting out in the early 1980s, Mike DiTrolio worked as a professional camera operator and editor at two well-known production companies in the Philadelphia region, quickly climbing the ladder and becoming a creative leader in the field.
Then, in the late-1980’s, Mike founded a production company called SPVN Communications, which focused on providing high-quality video and photography services to local businesses, organizations, schools and families.
This was the age of analog - photos were shot on 35mm film, video was captured on Betacam or VHS, and editing was done in a linear manner using two VCR decks. Mike and his staff soon developed a reputation for outstanding quality and speedy customer service, and the company grew quickly.
Today, Active Image Media helps companies and organizations cut through the noise and grow their brand with strategic, story-driven content. Our diverse client list includes such notable organizations as Villanova University, Independence Blue Cross, Opera Philadelphia, The Judge Group, Energy Transfer, among many others.
